LaLa.com gives a girl no love

Color me disappointed in LaLa.com. I was down to roll with the cool kids and tell iTunes to suck my left one but LaLa's nonexistant customer service and a flat out tech failure thwarted my nascent revolutionary ambitions.

How LaLa broke my heart and sent me crawling back to iTunes:
1. That shit REFUSED to sync with my iPod. Multiple tries. Multiple browsers. No sync-y sync-y.
2. I sucked it up and ASKED FOR HELP via an email to their support team. My humility was met with silence. I imagined a room full of entreprenurial hipster technocrats laughing at me. I wilted with shame.

Someone who knows someone (I know you all do, fucking well connected techno-literate freinds of mine) let a mutha at LaLa know to make it right, or risk losing my sweet sweet sonic lovin forever.

Support Sam's Cross Country Ride!

My wonderful friend Sam departed yesterday on a 4,247.5mile odyssey across the country on bicylce.

In her words: "I am undertaking this mildly insane venture in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and in memory of my dad, who would have loved to have come along for the ride."

80% of donations made to the ride will be given directly to the society, with 20% going towards Sam's expenses (until she hits her expenses cap of $3,500, after which all proceeds go to benefit the charity).

DOGGIE!

I AM GETTING A DOGGIE!!!!

I will pick him up in Michigan on June 11 and he will arrive in Brooklyn, NYC with me on June 13.

This dog will make you need to shit he is so adorable. I will introduce you to him for the first time near a toilet so you don't poop your pants from all the cuteness.

I will be getting him:
-a sparkly leash and collar
-a doggie bike seat (yes, they make them. booyah!)
-a doggie bed big enough for me AND him cause Matt won't let him on the people furniture so I'll be living on dog furniture from now on.
-doggie videos to play if i have to leave him alone
-a little bone shaped doggie poop bag dispenser
-doggie ice cream for the summer time
-sooooo many toys and stuffed animals
